J.Crackleton is a snack sensation that’s been years in the making. In 2015, our founder Jay (AKA: The Prince of Pork) set out to create the world’s tastiest pork crackle. He wanted to invent a mind-blowing snack that would satisfy crunchy cravings. Looking for something different, he wanted to make it from real food, too – not like other snacks with ingredients that sound like a science experiment.

After many late nights and early mornings perfecting his secret recipe, the time came for Jay to take his pork crackle to the people. In 2018, he sourced world-class equipment to fit out the J.Crackleton factory, purpose built for cooking pork crackle. That’s when tasty dreams really started coming true.

Real pork, cooked to perfection

At J.Crackleton, we use 100% Aussie pork rind, with most of the excess fat removed, to create our mouth-watering snacks. Every bite-sized piece is slowly hand-cooked, seasoned with delicious flavours, and sealed fresh for you to enjoy. By using more rind and less fat, we produce perfect crackle that’s crunchy enough to make some noise but light enough to melt in your mouth.

Our pork crackle snacks are high protein, low carb and gluten free. Most of all, they’re made from real food and bursting with real flavour. So, whether you’re having a beer with the blokes, satisfying kids who can’t wait for dinner, or simply in need of a fun snack that’s spine-tinglingly delicious, J.Crackleton hits the spot.

Since launching in 2018, we’ve created 5 moreish flavours that are loved and shared by snackers around the world. We’ve also created awesome employment opportunities and partnered with Compassion Australia to support underprivileged kids.

Just like in the early days, our Prince of Pork continues to oversee the crackley goodness at our Melbourne factory. When he’s not dreaming up fresh new flavours, you can find Jay on the factory floor, personally cooking and testing the pork crackle to ensure only the best pieces make your pack.
